Requirements :

  • Current CA Certified Phlebotomy Technician license
  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or Associate Degree preferred
  • BCLS
  • 2-12 months' previous experience in an Acute care facility laboratory preferred with demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy on all age groups.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
  • Experience with computer based systems
  • Full command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Possesses physical ability and perceptive acuity, i.e., visual, hearing, and sensory to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care.
