Healthcare Informatics (On Campus/Hybrid) College of Nursing and Public Health JOB SUMMARY: The College of Nursing and Public Health at Adelphi University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in the CAHIIM-accredited MS in Healthcare Informatics Program. We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable individuals to join our team and contribute to the education of future healthcare informatics professionals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach on-campus/hybrid classes in the MS in Healthcare Informatics Program at the Garden City campus. There are four in-person sessions, each lasting six hours, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All additional coursework and instructional sessions are conducted online. Develop and deliver course content that aligns with program objectives and prepares students for careers in healthcare informatics. Foster a dynamic, engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. Provide mentorship and support to students to facilitate their academic and professional growth. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field, such as Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. More than five years of relevant professional experience in the field of healthcare informatics. Experience in healthcare settings, health information systems, electronic health records (EHRs), data analytics, or healthcare IT implementation can be particularly valuable. Prior experience teaching at the university level, preferably in healthcare informatics or a related field. APPLICATION: Interested applicants should submit the following materials: 1.
