Production Worker

Job Summary
Adelphia Seafood is currently seeking a Team member for our Production department. The ideal candidate must be reliable and have the ability to work in a dynamic & fast paced food industry environment. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to ensure quality food service.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with the production and packaging of food products in accordance with company specifications and regulatory requirements.

· Follow food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and food-borne illnesses.

· Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils and containers to maintain a hygienic production environment.

· Ensuring ingredients are labeled, covered, stored and rotated properly.

· Identify and communicate problems and quality issues to a supervisor in a timely manner.

· Operate production kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.

· Assist with filling orders based on customer needs.

· Cutting fish according to customer specification and company standards.

· Contribute to a productive and positive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

• Morning shift
