Community Counselor Bachelor's Degree Allegheny County

Adelphoi is seeking dedicated Community Counselors with a Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work to work full-time in Allegheny County. We have full-time positions in Wilkinsburg, North Versailles, and the North Side.

Adelphoi provides on-site job shadowing and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide psycho-education services and facilitate groups with delinquent youth.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and promote a safe environment for youth's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth.
• Provide support for routine and daily living skills to youth
• Provide crisis intervention to youth
• Adhere to Trauma-Informed Care principles and maintain professionalism during external meetings, family-related activities, and court hearings.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings.
• Ability to work the hours of 1 pm-9 pm Monday-Friday.
