About the Role: We are expanding our services in Bradford County and are looking for an energetic counselor to join our team and help drive our mission!
As a Community Counselor, you will:
- Identify strengths of clients and parents, contributing to a more positive relationship with school officials.
- Assess and identify prevention plans to monitor good school attendance.
- Adopt and utilize an identified evidence-based parenting curriculum.
- Meet with children and caregivers to implement prevention plan goals and objectives.
This year-round position requires travel and daylight (evening) hours to meet the needs of the youth and families.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in using a computer in the field and ability to learn new electronic systems.
- Demonstrate qualities of a therapist that include empathy, good listening skills, and critical thinking.
