As an IHPTA therapist, you will :
Provide prevention, intervention and reintegration services to delinquent and dependent youth and their families.Assess the needs of the client and develop and review a treatment plan in consultation with the youth, family, and the referring agency.Travel to client homes and other appropriate community environments as necessary to work with the multi-disciplinary team and manage the client's treatment plan.Coordinate and implement evidence-based interventions with delinquent and dependent youth and their natural family.Promote a safe environment in which youth may grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.Mentor, teach, and provide parenting skill support to parents / caregivers.Teach budgeting, home maintenance, and employment skills to caregivers.Provide crisis intervention.Establish the client record and enter all clinical documentation within the expected timeframe.Understand and adhere to the principles of Trauma Informed Care.Manage 6 to 7 cases and any given time.Present as a professional extension of the organization during external meetings, family-related activities, and court hearings.Develop engagement with key stakeholders to enhance treatment progress and sustainability.Opportunities for performance-based bonuses and increases.The position requires travel and non-traditional hours to meet the needs of the youth and families.

Requirements :
Master's degree (or currently pursuing) in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.Valid PA driver's license.Strong verbal and written communication.Proficiency in using a computer in the field and ability to learn new electronic systems.Demonstrate qualities of a therapist that include empathy, good listening skills, and critical thinking.
