Winemaking Production Assistants

Job Description

This full-time seasonal position involves assisting our cellar production staff with various tasks, including vineyard sampling, operating crush equipment, and forklift operation. You'll work closely with our experienced team to ensure high-quality wine production.

Responsibilities

1. Vineyard sampling and data analysis to inform winemaking decisions
2. Assisting with press operations and juice/wine transfers
3. Performing barrel work and cap management
4. Operating crush equipment and sorting fruit

Requirements

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
• Ability to accurately complete work instructions individually or in a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Compensation

• $21/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for overtime pay
• Meal provisions during working hours
• Mentorship and training from experienced winemakers
