The House Coordinator provides indirect/direct supervision for all personnel working days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays. This position is responsible for overseeing and maintains continuity of Human and material resources in the absence of Departmental Directors/Managers. Decisions are made independently or in collaboration with others. The House Coordinator has occasional direct patient care and access to confidential employee and organizational information. This position functions under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager of Float Pool/House Coordinator.
This position requires cross training and dual role responsibilities in the transfer center.
** 11a-11p Mid-Shift
Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Nursing, BSN required within 3 years of hire.
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Current Ohio RN license in Ohio; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. Code Violet within 6 months and annually. National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required annually.
Required Experience: Clinical experience in acute care setting with prior demonstration of leadership/management skills.
