What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient LPN (Various Shifts/FTE Available) position at Adena Health?
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities for assigned hospital patients, participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff as directed by the Registered Nurse. The LPN provides direct patient care to individuals and performs patient observation, data collection related to patient care, administers medication, treatment and procedures, implements the plan of nursing care and communicates findings to the supervising RN to achieve optimal outcomes for patients. The LPN is responsible for functioning within the scope of practice dictated by the authority of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
