Staff Physical Therapists are responsible for direct patient care, evaluating and treating a variety of individuals based upon setting. The successful candidate will exhibit strong: customer service skills, clinical skills, documentation, and patient outcomes. They must practice with high moral and professional standards and be driven toward continuous professional development. Effective time management and teamwork skills are an essential quality that will allow success in contributing to the operation of the Health System. Have responsibilities towards supervision, and development, of assistants involved in the care of their patients.
- Practices Physical Therapy consistent with, and is knowledgeable of: the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice Guidelines, state laws, and payors compliance guidelines.
- Effective time management skills including ability to meet productive standards
- Able to complete all documentation requirements with high quality and within timelines
- Effectively directs and develops physical therapy assistants involved in the care of their patients.
- Achieves high quality patient outcomes through continued professional development and usage of evidence based practice
Education
- Graduate of accredited program in physical therapy
- Preferred Doctorate
Certifications
- BLS
- Possess or be eligible for Ohio License
Experience
- 1-2 years direct patient care
