What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time) - Outpatient position at Adena Health?
Adena Health is looking for a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join the Adena Counseling Center located at 455 N. Shawnee Lane, Chillicothe, OH. The ideal candidate will be an experienced provider who has previously worked with a psychiatrist collaborator in a behavioral health setting.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner see patients, manage electronic patient care duties (i.e. telephone encounters, refill requests, results review, etc.), provides cross-coverage for prescribers out of the office, and completes documentation and correspondence timely.
• Office Hours: 7:00am-5:30pm (Monday through Thursday) and 7:30am-5pm (Fridays).
• Provider Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with an hour lunch break.
• EMR: Epic

Requirements and Certifications:
• At least one year experience as an Advanced Practice Provider working with a psychiatrist collaborator in a behavioral health setting. No new grads please.
• Psychiatric Certification (PMHNP-BC) from an accredited institution.
