Overview
We would like to invite you to explore an exciting per diem opportunity to supplement your income as a Nurse Assessor. In this role, you will conduct in-home, face-to-face assessments with potential homecare clients.
This position is a 1099 contract opportunity, offering flexibility for earning additional income.
As a Nurse Assessor, your responsibilities will include conducting thorough cognitive and functional assessments of potential clients in their homes. These assessments will be structured and require careful attention to detail, focusing on accuracy and efficiency. It is essential that you observe and report the individual’s current status while maintaining an objective, unbiased approach.
You will be responsible for coordinating your schedule with each client using the contact information we provide. Once the assessment is completed, it must be submitted within 24 hours. Our review team will contact you within 48 hours if any required fields are missing or clarifications are needed.
Duties
- Conduct thorough cognitive and functional assessments of potential clients in their homes.
- Perform structured assessments with careful attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Observe and report the individual’s current status.
- Maintain an objective and unbiased approach during assessments.
Qualifications:
- A compassionate, friendly, and patient demeanor
- Excellent and prompt communication skills
- A valid nursing license recognized by the state of Massachusetts
- Quick adaptability to technology and proficiency with computers
- Prior experience in quality assurance and assessments
- Strong analytical skills for assessing patient needs
- A solid understanding of medications and conditions commonly encountered in the geriatric population (current RN license required)
- Candidates must possess an iPad to conduct assessments, as it is essential for completing the required documentation and assessments efficiently. The iPad will be used to access and input client information, complete electronic forms, and ensure real-time data collection during home visits. It is important that the candidate is comfortable using technology to perform these tasks accurately and effectively. The iPad must be in good working condition.
