1st Shift Security Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations and ensure a safe environment for all personnel and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, law enforcement, or military service, along with excellent leadership skills. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management, surveillance, and loss prevention.

******Associate must be aware of their surroundings, patrol property once an hour, check man / dock doors are secure, approaching homeless people on property, must be able to walk long periods of time and Must be able to walk up 6 flights of stairs to check every floor and every stairwell. Must be able to perform reports such as a daily activity report. Also, they will train new employees, conduct scheduling and coordinate with PM security supervisor and On – Site Manager.*******

---Must know some Spanish. (Schedule always subject to change)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks and implement corrective measures.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities and respond accordingly.
• Provide training and guidance to security staff on first aid, CPR, conflict management, and emergency response protocols.
• Develop and maintain incident reports, documenting any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets.
• Foster a culture of safety and vigilance among staff through regular communication and training sessions.

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or related area such as law enforcement or military service.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a bonus; additional certifications related to surveillance or loss prevention are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.

Shift Hour: 8am – 5pm (1 Hour Lunch)
