Production Lead Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing facility environment. This role involves leading a team on the bottling lines, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards in packaging.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Oversee the bottling lines operations, ensuring that products are packaged according to specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Maintain a clean and organized production and warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Operate forklifts or palette jacks as needed for material handling within the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
