We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our expanding team at Adept Technologies, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal components for aerospace applications, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Operate various machines including press brake, stamping press, and lathe for component fabrication.
- Weld components as required to meet assembly standards.
- Perform programming tasks for CNC machines when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and welding techniques.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus but not required.
