Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Temporary)

Adeptus Advisors, LLC, a growing full-service CPA firm with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Maryland, California, and White Plains, is seeking a temporary, part-time Administrative Assistant for our White Plains, NY office.
This position is ideal for a college student or a stay-at-home parent seeking temporary, part-time work during the busy tax season. The role requires a commitment of 20-25 hours per week from early February through mid-April.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan and organize client documents
- Provide administrative support to office staff
- Greet clients and answer telephone calls
- Prepare, collate, and assemble client materials, including tax organizers and tax returns
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing labels and handling delivery schedules
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Organize and manage documents and files
- Perform general office duties and assist with ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
- Prior office experience required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, team-oriented, and easy to work with
