ADF Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience in industrial/commercial designs. The position offers an opportunity to work in the fastest growing industries dealing with cutting edge development in Food Processing, Bioscience, Renewable Fuels, and Manufacturing.

• BS in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
• 3 to 7 years of experience i
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in consulting engineering, industrial and facility design.
- PE and/or SE certification
- Experience using REVIT software
Requirements Duties and Responsibilities
Identify project needs, define and deliver Structural Engineering solutions.
1. Provide competent SE solutions: Design, Analysis, Structural Assessment of existing buildings, Capacity Ratings.
2. Utilize Structural Engineering tools and software
3. Interact with clients and contractors
4. Collaborate with other engineers and designers
Competencies
1. Strong knowledge of Structural Engineering for Medium and Heavy Industrial Buildings:
• Reinforced Concrete Foundations for building and equipment
• Structural Steel Floors, Frames (Braced or Moment Frames)
• Masonry
• Be familiar with IBC, ASCE 7 Loads: Seismic and Wind
• Utility Racks, Pipe Supports,
• Knowledge of Fall Protection design and OSHA
2. Knowledge of Ram Elements, Robot or other FEA engineering tools
3. Leadership and pro-active attitude
4. Consulting engineering experience
5. Ownership and accountability
6. Ability to conceptualize and execute projects and tasks
7. Efficient communication skills
