Crane Operator
General Expectations and Responsibilities
- Follow ADF safety procedures and practices.
- Utilize the overhead crane to manipulate materials.
- Inspect cranes daily and report any concerns to the Foreman or safety department.
- Stap and secure loads to trailers properly.
- Excellent situational and hazard awareness.
- Understands the capabilities and limits of the cranes.
- Able to plan and manage time effectively.
- Utilize the proper rigging for the task at hand.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic mathematic skills and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Any other duties assigned.
Education, Training, or Work Experience
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Previous experience with crane operation.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel for varying lengths of time.
- Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist.
- Must be able to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools.
- Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, pull, or carry up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.).
- Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend on ladder.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.30 - $24.95 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
