What are the responsibilities and job description for the Critical Care NP / PA position at Adfinitas Health?
We have an opportunity for an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Critical Care practice at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. This position is 100% nights, 7p - 7a, with very generous compensation!
Responsibilities include consults, admissions and bed flow management, rapid response / codes
- Manage Critical Care patients in a busy ICU
- Assist in creating, directing, and coordinating the patient care plans
- Conduct / order diagnostic tests, and analyze results and prescribe indicated treatments and therapies
- Work as part of an integrated team
- Assist in patient education and goal setting
- Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed
- Manage ventilators
- Complete central lines
- Perform intubations
- Insertionof peripheral arterial catheters
