We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician – New Construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing electrical systems in new commercial buildings, ensuring all work meets code requirements and project deadlines. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, running conduit, wiring systems, and working with contractors to complete high-quality electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, panels, switches, and lighting, in new commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine installation requirements.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Install and terminate wiring for lighting, power distribution, control systems, and equipment.
- Perform conduit bending, pulling wire, and setting up electrical panels and switchgear.
- Test and troubleshoot newly installed electrical systems for proper operation and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while following all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in training apprentices and less experienced electricians as needed.
- Complete documentation and reports on work progress and inspections.
