What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytical Laboratory Manager position at Adhesives Research, Inc.?
The Senior Analytical Chemist will use their expertise to develop and validate complex analytical methods that are required for the characterization of various materials and products. They will work closely with cross-functional product development teams to provide analytical characterization solutions.
- Develop and validate analytical methods using chromatography techniques, spectroscopy, thermal and mechanical analysis, and other relevant tools
- Lead resolution of technical issues through troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation
- Collaborate with the analytical team to apply and improve established Adhesives Research Test Methods
- Communicate results and findings through written reports and presentations
To be successful in this role, you will need an undergraduate degree in Science/chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical lab environment. You should also possess hands-on instrumentation experience and specific focus in polymer & adhesive characterization. Proficiency in chromatography software data systems is preferred.
