The Senior Analytical Chemist will utilize their expertise in analytical chemistry to develop, validate, and implement advanced methods for characterizing materials and products. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional product development teams to provide analytical characterization solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate complex analytical methods
- Lead resolution of technical issues related to instrumentation, analytical test methods, systems, materials, and processes
- Collaborate with the analytical team to apply and improve established Adhesives Research Test Methods
- Author documents including Method Validation Protocols, Method Validation Reports, and Test Study Reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This position requires an undergraduate degree in Science/chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical lab environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on instrumentation experience and specific focus in polymer & adhesive characterization. Additionally, they should be proficient in chromatography techniques, spectroscopy, thermal and mechanical analysis, surface characterization knowledge, rheology, and familiarity with wet chemistry techniques.
