The Senior Analytical Chemist will be responsible for developing, validating, and implementing advanced analytical methods for characterizing materials and products. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to provide analytical characterization solutions.
- Develop and validate complex analytical methods
- Lead resolution of technical issues related to instrumentation, analytical test methods, systems, materials, and processes
- Collaborate with the analytical team to apply and improve established Adhesives Research Test Methods
- Author documents including Method Validation Protocols, Method Validation Reports, and Test Study Reports
This position requires an undergraduate degree in Science/chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical lab environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on instrumentation experience and specific focus in polymer & adhesive characterization. Additionally, they should be proficient in chromatography techniques, spectroscopy, thermal and mechanical analysis, surface characterization knowledge, rheology, and familiarity with wet chemistry techniques.
