Manager Finance Operations

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Act as internal consultant ensuring overall alignment within Finance NAM on key projects and priorities. Provide direct support to the NAM Finance Senior Leadership Team by providing input and recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. Manage & execute local and global strategic initiatives and priorities for Finance NAM. Identify, develop, implement, document, and continuously improve processes and standards within NAM Finance and its cross-functional partners. Further drive and align internal communication activities and initiatives within the Finance NAM function and drive team engagement topics across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Director Finance Operations with contributing to define the overall Finance NAM strategy and strategic priorities and ultimately drive alignment, execution, tracking and preparing presentations
• Work closely with NAM Finance teams to execute priorities, ultimately influencing and driving NAM Finance key initatives
• Facilitation of the Finance NAM project demand process including priority and resource management. Monitor and report on project and/or priority progress
• Drive the continuous improvement of our NAM Finance Operating Model
• Prepare and facilitate content delivery for key meetings in the NAM Finance Operating Model
• Lead by example execution of deliverables within Finance NAM
• Support Global Finance Business Transformation Projects
• Serve as key contact point and act as an interface between different functions and different development locations to drive alignment and to ensure smooth operation of the business

• Good finance skills – understands financial and business systems/ processes and proactively engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify and define potential issues, opportunities and develop solutions creating value
• Good planning and organization skills, and ability to work and deliver in changing environments, while adhering to specified deadlines
• Curiosity to develop understanding of the bigger picture and end-to-end processes
• Solid project management skills from initiation to closure (scoping, structuring, work planning, status reporting tools, management updates)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing, to interact effectively and efficiently on different layers of the organization
• Action oriented and solution minded team player

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA, CPA, CFA, CMA); equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted for a degree.
• 5 - 7 years of broad-based finance experience with progressive responsibility in industry leading companies or banking environment
