Senior Apparel Designer
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
Design market leading apparel for assigned concept or category, working in cooperation with multiple cross functional teams. Relentless passion to create the future.
Key Responsibilities :
Concept, design, and develop creative solutions to concepts within the category. Present the designs in context to the category directionDevelop concepts and creative strategies that fulfill objectives of category, concept, briefs.Implement the creative vision in a product range for the Basketball BU.Self-manage own creative process and execute towards given design direction within the category.Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas as well as given Corporate Identity guidelines according to legal guidance.Verbally present product ideas and details with clarity.Ensure efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing, and development for all issues regarding the designed ranges and products.Ensure proper handover of tech packs into development. Main duty is to submit all relevant information needed for the development process such as sketches, detail sketches, fabric and trim indication, artworks, etc.Visualize ideas for products and ranges with a high degree of expertise.Key Relationships :

IT skills : Excel, Word, PowerPoint : advanced / OutlookDesign apps : expertStrong visual and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful / exciting visualsStrong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are requiredFTW tools : Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar 3D design toolsStrong presentation and communication skillsGood knowledge of footwear, product development, material, and trims for assigned product range.Knowledge and use of Mac computer design software / systems (Photoshop, Illustrator,3D)Fluent in English (spoken and written)Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
