Adient Aerospace is welcoming back the return of our Summer Internship Program, and we are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This is full-time, on-site role, and based in Huntington Beach, CA. This will be a 10-week internship program, beginning on Monday, June 2nd and ending on Friday, August 15th.

JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Intern supports the supply chain team by assisting with key sourcing processes and activities related to aerospace project execution. The role involves analyzing supply chain performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and contributing to the development of strategies that enhance sourcing efficiency.
The Supply Chain Intern collaborates with experienced professionals across departments and provides insights to improve operational workflows, ensuring effective execution of aerospace projects.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Assist commodity managers in organizing, planning, and executing sourcing activities.
- Review and analyze RFQ bid packages.
- Support the execution and maintenance of tracking tools (e.g., tooling tracker).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure communication and alignment on project objectives and milestones.
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and reviews to track progress, identify issues, and propose solutions.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements to support sourcing decisions.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Companys information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace, Supply Chain, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly Rate Transparency: $20 per hour
Schedule: 8am 5pm, Monday Friday (40 hours a week)
