What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator position at Adient One?
Ability to stand and complete work for full 8 hour shift.
Understand no phone out on floor during work hours
Sit down Forklift experience.
Job Description: Receiving, picking orders, put away, labeling, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs. Operation of sit down Forklift. Do note that the offer that is extended could have a pay rate change based off interview and the experience the candidate has. Please let associate know prior to the interview if selected for the role as they may not be offered the rate you discussed or submitted them at in Beeline.
Must have:
- 6 months recent warehouse/sit down forklift experience.
- Computer experience, basic such as email, viewing websites. (able to get around)
- Able to leave their phone in their pocket while out on the facility floor.
Qualifications:
- 6 months recent A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
- 6 months recent Sit down Forklift Operator experience
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, pull, climb and walk for full 8 hours shift
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
