What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor Inventory Control position at Adient?
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team in support of the inventory planning and controls activities.
- Possess knowledge of the various inventory systems used at this facility and be able to function within them.
- Manages the Cycle count program to ensure accurate counts of inventory items and compares them to records in the various inventory systems. Be able to reconcile discrepancies in these records to actual counts performed as required.
- Work in various inventory systems to track/monitor all material.
- Assist with physical inventory.
- Performs inventory discrepancy investigations.
- Runs inventory and other reports as required.
- Maintain operational and other files as required.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Be knowledgeable of other positions in the facility, i.e., cycle counter, materials coordinator, supervisor, etc., to provide coverage as required by absences or vacations.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Engages in safe practices as well as follows and enforces safety rules and job rotations.
