Pick

Warehouse Pick & Pull Clerk to join our team for GE Renewables in Amarillo TX. Position performs picking and pulling of inventory items as directed by material requests and records activities into the Stock Control and Distribution System.

This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our clients location. Responsibilities : Picks and pulls inventory items as directed by material requests.

Records entries into stock control and distribution system. Inputs list of items alphabetic numeric or symbolic in computerreadable format.

Compares and verifies data entered with source documents or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.

Verifies existing data edits current information and or proofreads new entries in database for accuracy. May utilize optical scanners Record keeping.

Maintains professional and courteous customer relations including client vendor and internal team. Maintains safe work practices as define by Amentum and the client.

Performs all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees. Performs all work in compliance with environmental rules and regulations.

Performs scheduled and nonscheduled inventory of existing stock as required. Other duties as assigned by Management or Lead

Minimum Requirements : High School diploma General Education Degree (GED) or demonstrated equivalent. 2 years of related experience and / or training including a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite;

or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to demonstrate an acceptable rate of speed and accuracy.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to write simple correspondence via email.

Additional Information : Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a preemployment substance abuse test.

• Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends. Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit;

walk; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders roof ladder stepladders and stairs at least 10 times during shift.

Requires the flexibility to bend / stoop squat repetitive during shift. Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.

Requires the ability to move in a 90degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to stretch / reach on a repetitive basis for shift.

Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Special Requirements : Wear steel toe safety shoes safety glasses gloves hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and / or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
