Warehouse Worker/ Warehouse Call Counter

Note: Work Hours: Must be available to work 8 hours between the hours of 7am and 4:30pm, with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.

Job Description: This is a seasonal warehouse position. Ideal candidate will be responsible for the will call counter. This involves great customer service and ability to learn different forms of technology to perform the job (Ferguson systems). Candidate will also work in receiving, put aways, pulling orders using a sitdown forklift or a cherry picker (heights up to 20ft). Lifting or maneuvering products (compressors) that weight 50-75 lbs using a pallet jack or forklift.

Qualifications:

• A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.

Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
