Field Service Technician

Job Description:

• Techs must be available anytime, day or night, with the ability to be to the shop within 30-60 minutes.
• Techs will take drive their own vehicle to the shop and then ride with another tech to the job site in a service truck.
• Only senior level technicians are allowed to have work vehicles.

A sea trial must be done after every repair, so candidates must be open to sea trials.
Initially, all travel will be within 2 hours of the shop, east and west along the gulf coast following where the ship is at.

• As technicians become more advanced, further travel and eventually even international travel is possible (higher level), so a TWIC card and passport are a plus, but not required.

-High horsepower - must have
-Heavy duty engines
-Internal engine repair
-Overhaul
-After treatment/Wet manifold
-Fuel systems
-Troubleshooting

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• On call
• Overtime
