Location: Athens, GA
Shift: 5:45pm to 6:15am
Contract - 1 year (Extendable)
Job Description:
As a Technician I in the SV Filling Department, you will perform process and support duties related to the automated filling of vaccines. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure the safe and sterile preparation of vaccines, contributing to the success of our operations. Your efforts will directly support the discovery, development, and delivery of our products to patients and customers. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform filling and support production activities in the SV Filling Department.
- Operate relevant department equipment in accordance with established guidelines and requirements.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained to meet operational standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Complete and document all tasks and activities in compliance with established protocols and standards.
- Perform basic inventory transactions and support stock management.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Communicate process needs, progress, and issues to colleagues and supervisors.
- Escalate any events, concerns, or deviations to the supervisor as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, Lean Principles, and company values in all tasks and interactions.
- Take on additional duties and projects as assigned that align with the position's responsibilities
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling measurements and calculations.
- Basic mechanical skills and experience in operating automated equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of experience in a manufacturing or related field preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
