What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at ADIENTONE?
Responsibilities::
- include receiving items, stocking shelves, assisting customers, cycle counting, and dock work.
- The job involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 125 lbs with team lifting and using equipment like pallet jacks.
- This is a customer-facing position. It is not a traditional warehouse position where the entire time is spent in the back moving material.
- Greeting customer at the door, answering questions, fulfilling the customers need and putting away inventory, filing paperwork.
- Entering inventory into the computer, cycle counts. Important focus on reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
Must haves:
- 6 months warehouse experience
- Customer Service background helpful
- Computer experience in excel, word, helpful-20% of the shift is receiving items into the computer inventory system.
- Receiving experience
- Ability to work well on their own and can be a leader
Qualifications:
- A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
- MRO product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
- Ability to hand a physically position, lifting, bending, twisting and pulling for full 8 hours shift.
- Use of Pallet jacks or walk behind lifts.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
