Configuration Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Configuration Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining various aspects of IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Serve as a Sr. Configuration Analyst on the Business Configuration Solutions team. Responsible for the enablement of member benefit configuration strategies by designing, implementing, and executing Configuration. Lead projects for the Configuration space to enable system and process solutions for the Business Configuration tool sets. Serve as a subject matter expert for the Business Configuration team interfacing with Eye Med’s cross-functional teams implementing solutions for client requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert representing the Configuration work stream for large Government Implementations for Medicaid, Med/Surgical, and Medicare programs.
• Provide Data Analysis and troubleshooting expertise on Configuration tool sets with automated processes.
• Prepare data for analysis by removing duplicates, errors, and outliers and perform data validation. Should be able to build SQL queries to pull backend data based on configuration need.
• Serve as a Business Analyst documenting requirements, process flows, and execute testing for enhancements to improve the automation toolset for Configuration.
• Self-manage and prioritize work to achieve designated service level agreements. Also, meet key performance indicators of the Business Configuration solution team for Projects.
• Collaborate with Configuration leaders on the Configuration roadmap deliverables that enable automation of Eye Med’s product and network offerings.
• Provide Fit/Gap Analysis and Feedback Assessments on new client plans as Configuration is leveraged to bring on new business.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other stakeholders, including business partners at all levels of Eye Med leadership.

Specific Skills Needed:

Top 3-5 mandatory and/or minimum requirements – SQL,

• SQL/Database experience.
• Healthcare claim understanding/benefit configuration.

Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications?

• 5 years’ experience with Facets platform, Medical Plan Benefit Configuration, Provider Network & Agreement Configuration, Understanding for Medicare/Medicaid.
• SQL and Database experience

• ·Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Required levels/ Years of Experience education – discuss whether there is flexibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement configuration changes
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate configuration processes
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot configuration issues
• Work in an Agile environment to deliver configuration solutions efficiently
• Utilize AWS services for configuration management
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
• Familiarity with React Express for front-end development
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to configuration tasks
• Proficiency in C programming language for system-level configurations
• Implement Continuous Integration practices for seamless configuration updates

Skills

• Strong scripting skills for automation tasks
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components and configurations
• Experience working with servers and optimizing their configurations
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for efficient project delivery
• Proficiency in AWS services for cloud-based configuration management
• Ability to write and optimize T-SQL queries for database configurations

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
