Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and texts with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries as needed.
- Manage scheduling and appointment bookings for staff and clients using Meevo Software.
- Maintain office organization by managing clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and document preparation, as well as cleanliness of the front desk and makeup room.
- Stay on top of laundry with washing, drying and folding sheets for massages and facials.
- Take out trash and assist the team with other basic cleaning duties.
- Utilize Google Suite for various office management tasks including email correspondence , spreadsheets and document creation.
- Assist with general office management duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as required.
- Create marketing content using various applications for daily posts and assisting in marketing videos.
- Assist clients with picking out and trying on makeup products.
- Check out clients using Shopify.
- Complete product ordering and inventory management.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Pikesville, MD.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications is essential.
- Strong technology skills required.
- Experience in marketing and social media content creation a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with salon and spa settings and makeup is a plus.
- Experience with Shopify and Meevo is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
