Adirondack Audio & Video is seeking a full-time installer for its busy custom integration department. Responsibilities include installation of home theaters, residential and commercial distributed audio systems, A/V control systems, surveillance systems, and structured wiring for audio, video, and computer networks. The best qualified applicants will have experience with one or more of the above; however, those without experience—but with an enthusiasm to learn and an interest in electronics—will also be considered. Duties
- Pre-Wire Low Voltage wire for New Construction and Re-Model Homes
- Install and Hang TV's
- Install In-Ceiling and In-Wall Speakers
- Perform low voltage cabling connections for audio-visual installations
- Install various types of electronics, including Networking, Motorized Shades, Lighting Controls, Security Cameras and A/V Racks.
- Test all systems for functionality
- Work together as part of a team
Qualifications
- Drivers License
- Ability to work on Ladders
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Proficiency is using basic hand tools
- High School or Equivalent Education
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
