What are the responsibilities and job description for the Syrup Room Coordinator position at Adirondack Beverages?
Overview: As the Syrup Room Coordinator, you will work closely with Quality Manager, Quality Supervisors, syrup technicians, lab technicians, line foreman, and production schedulers to help improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the daily activities of syrup technicians across multiple batching areas.
- Assist in coordinating preparation of syrup batches with the needs of the production lines.
- Understand batching systems utilized in the various batching rooms.
- Monitor sanitation of equipment
- Inventory Control procedures
- Yield analysis and scrap calculations
- Logistical coordination of raw material staging
- Must understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and to ensure GMP compliance of fellow employees.
- Must understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and to ensure adherence by fellow employees.
- Auditing the accuracy of recordkeeping regarding lot numbers and batch ingredients.
- Perform miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality.
