What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Culinary Artist position at Adirondack Camp?
Breakfast chef needed for a seasonal, private adirondack camp located near Paul Smiths, NY.
We are not a restaurant or hotel. We are a private home. It has the most beautiful kitchen you will ever see! All breakfasts are served buffet style.
You will set up for, and cook breakfast for 30-50 people per day, as well as break down and do prep for the next day.
We generally work 5 days on, and 2 days off (with a few exceptions). Holidays and weekends are required!
Calendar style schedule months in advance so you will know when you are working and can plan for a life outside of work.
Eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, pastries, coffe/tea, milks and juices, cereals and granola, fruit platters, as well as other egg specialties like eggs benedicts, breakfast burritos, breakfast pizzas, quiches/fritatas, cinnamon rolls, donuts, etc. CREATIVITY ENCOURAGED!
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to lift 30 pounds (a case of water).
No housing.
Pay to be discussed at the interview process, but we are competitive and fair in the local market.
