What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Oncology Pharmacist position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary:
The dispensing of oncology medication and pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with the standard policies of the department. 50% of time will be spent as Staff Pharmacist in addition to the duties described below (see Staff Pharmacist Job Description).
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
Registered Pharmacist currently licensed in New York State. Completion of PGY2 Oncology Residency and/or Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) OR 2-5 years or more time spent preparing/evaluating chemotherapy regimens required. Familiarity and experience in developing processes and procedures to meet USP 797, USP 800 and all other regulatory requirements for compounding sterile preparations.
Pay Range:
$62.00-$67.00 per hour
