Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a nursing assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients
