Adirondack Studios is hiring a Graphic Designer to support its Creative and Marketing teams!
Our company designs, builds and installs the scenic and themed environments you experience in venues that range from theme parks to casinos, museums, live shows, retail, and public art. The ideal candidate will support the projects and goals of Adirondack Studios’ (ADKS) projects domestically and globally by providing graphic design and graphic production support to an extremely talented team who are known for designing and implementing exceptional productions. We are looking for someone who will bring a working understanding of graphic design and implementation while working with an existing team of talented designers. This is an entry level position. The perfect candidate will be able to contribute equally in the creation of graphics from an early stage, the preparation of print ready artwork, the creation of stencils and pounces, and the templating and creation of graphic and thematic creative design deliverables.

Responsibilities:
Work within design team in a cohesive and collaborative manner and foster an attitude of unity of purpose in quality standards, performance, efficiency, and safety among employees.
Fulfill customer needs by providing creative, thorough, accurate, and professional design deliverables
Role requires self-management to satisfy assigned design deliverables including working with design staff as needed
An ideal Candidate will come with an existing education or experience in Graphic Design or related field in order to:
design, direct, and support Adirondack design, marketing and business development projects
support the creation of graphic files for print and production to be compiled from illustrations and artwork by others
assist in the ideation and creation of vector and raster-based graphics
produce vinyl stencils and paper pounces to support ADKS shop needs
assist in general graphic design needs in support of creative presentations and deliverables including design pitch decks, concept packages, and other creative deliverables
lead/assist in the creation and templating of marketing materials
In addition to supporting ADKS’ graphic design needs, an ideal candidate will come with existing experience in and/or an eagerness to learn and support thematic design needs, including 3D modeling and drafting.
Represent Adirondack Studios and its commitment to producing excellent product and service during client interaction.
Prepare design deliverables in a timely manner. This may include project manuals, data sheets, instructions, samples, and drawings. These are to be presented in a standardized format.
Promote the concept of quality control within the organization and its subcontractors.
Travel as required to support project goals
Direct client interface as required
Coordination and collaboration with ADKS USA and international offices as needed
Foster a sense of unity, collaboration and positivity within the ADKS design departments
Be a fan of the work we do, and a champion of each project, its aesthetic, story, IP and brand
Role will report to the Creative Director
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, a similar design field, or commensurate work experience
Prior experience as a graphic designer a plus
Working understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Powerpoint and Google Slides preferred. After Effects and Cut Studio a plus. Familiarity in MS office suite including word and excel is necessary.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a collaborative manner with clients as well as ADKS management and staff
