We are looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate to represent our Adisseo monogastric portfolio to swine & poultry nutritionists, feed mills and distribution partners. They will work with the Canada Country Manager, Monogastric Technical Managers (US, Global) as we build the business, set the strategy, and service our customers.
Responsibilities
- Expand and support the sales of Adisseo’s monogastric portfolio including amino acids, enzymes, specialty products, and mycotoxin management solutions
- Execute a territory business plan while achieving sales targets
- Actively seek out and engage with key decision makers and influencers including monogastric nutritionists, technical advisors, consultants, purchasing/business decision makers, key feed mill/company personnel including arm length sales persons
- Attend conferences and networking activities to maintain Adisseo’s reputation as an industry leader in animal nutrition
- Prepare accurate and timely reports that keep team members informed of activities and pipeline opportunities within the territory through utilizing customer relationship management software (Salesforce)
- Maintain a personal development plan to ensure they are reaching their greatest potential
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D in monogastric nutrition or related field.
- Experience with sales and customer support
- Understanding about the Canadian livestock and nutrition industry
- 5 years in relevant industry
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Canada.
- Approximately 50% (~split 50% ONT/QC, 30% inter-provincial, 20% International)
Additional Skills and Preferences:
- 5 years of experience in the livestock feed industry
- Bilingual (EN/FR) preferable
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Experience in selling technical products or processes
- Ability to work well in both a team environment and autonomously
- Practical knowledge/work experience of monogastric production systems
- Knowledgeable about the poultry and swine business in Canada
- Advanced computer skills, competent in digital platforms, spreadsheets, and presentations
