Job Title: Java Back End Developer III
Duration: 6 months contract to begin with.
Location: Hybrid - San Jose, 1-3 days in office
Job Description
Conducts analysis, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. Typical background for this position is advance study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
Daily Responsibilities
Mostly application development. Conduct requirement analysis, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. Implementations understand PayPal code system. Working with FTEs, UNIT testing, functional testing, blackbox testing, release process & documentation (entire lifecycle of development). 80% writing code in Java.
Top 3 must-have hard skills
- Hands on Java good aptitude & problem solving
- Database schema in SQL
- Good team player, attitude, communication skills, etc.
Nice to Have: frontend exposure (javascript / ui or ux) / automation frameworks
Years of Experience: 2-10 years
Degrees or Certifications: BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field
