What are the responsibilities and job description for the Java Software Engineer position at Aditi Consulting?
Key job responsibilities:
- Build systems using the latest AWS technologies
- Design and Implement Distributed Cloud-based Services and APIs
- Docker experience.
- Invent new tools that enable more frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release system.
- Develop tools that allow for test execution across multiple environments: virtualized hardware, real hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit testing.
- Evangelize engineering excellence best practices and mentor junior engineers.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with systems integration and testing methodologies.
- Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & continuous monitoring.
Basic Qualifications:
- Min 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Min 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Min 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $120,000 per year. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid days off based on tenure, up to 40 hours paid sick time, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
