Summary:
In this role, you will work with a team of scientists & engineers, using internally developed simulation tools to predict system level performance of Client products and prototypes. Analysis of the simulation results will be used to directly improve product/prototype performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Use simulation tools to model end-to-end performance of display systems
- Report analysis of these simulations to establish specifications for these display systems and ensure a successful product
- Collaborate with the larger research team to explore concepts and drive system performance to create compelling experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of several of the following:
- μLED, OLED, LCD, LCOS, DMD, etc based displays, display metrology/calibration,
- image signal processing, camera ISP, display pipeline architecture, digital filters, colorimetry, color space conversions, imaging waveguides, image quality metrics, human perception.
- Experience with image algorithm/ISP development, convolutions, Fourier transforms
- Deep experience in MATLAB
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Computer Science, Color Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work/education experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in the field of Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related degree, PhD preferred
- 5 years of experience in research or advanced display/camera development
