Payrate : $57.00 -$62.00 / hr Summary : As an electric powertrain integration engineer, you will : electrified powertrain concepts design / development leverage opportunities extensively with assigned technical leads work with our simulation team trade-off analysis using key metrics (performance, TCO, R&D investment).components and develop HV system schematics detailed system design activities, in concert with component design owners development builds and validation electric powertrain systems to resolve electrical and mechanical component and system challenges Basic Qualifications : Mechanical or Electrical Engineering years’ experience for MS or PhD years of relevant product (machine, system, or component) development experience to interrogate existing system schematics and develop new electrical system layouts of detailed electrical schematics, leveraging industry and developed standards to apply principles of electrical theory to electric powertrain design collaboration and communication skills to efficiently work with process partners and internal customers with design and simulation tools / software Desired Qualifications : Performance analysis and simulation at machine or system level drive systems designof electrical components, systems, machines or mechanical drivetrain systems (design or simulation) Generator systems (design or simulation)electronics Power conversion systems and controls (design or simulation)distribution design, including selection of protective components system design or simulation systems controls development. validation mentoring less experienced engineers / team members. Pay Transparency : The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is : $57.00 -$62.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.
