Payrate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr
Summary:
Lead a small team of individuals who support cybersecurity operational environment and Vulnerability Management related requirements/needs; Engage with Federal Leadership and counterparts to identify endpoint vulnerabilities and provide feedback / guidance on remediation actions; Engage with system and application administrators to coordination remediation efforts to meet required timelines; Develop and enhance vulnerability identification and remediation status tracking and reporting to present cyber related risks; Identify and address any process and/or activity Vulnerability Management related gaps, to include the creations and/or updating of relevant documentation; Engage with system and application administrators and Federal counterparts to troubleshoot issues associated with endpoint vulnerability scanning; Work Cyber related security operations ITSM (ServiceNow) assigned tickets to completion; Participate in relevant Cybersecurity and Security Operations (SecOps) meetings; Collaborate on and provide feedback to cybersecurity solutions that enhance DOT security posture

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).

Job Responsibilities:
- Performs day-to-day activities required to administer and deploy Symantec anti-virus software to all required workstations and servers.
- Centrally manages Symantec-related settings using various servers.
- Manages workstation anti-virus software, DAT, and engineer updates.
- Performs virus scans and updates as scheduled.
- Troubleshoots complex issues and provides incident resolution for all related incidents requiring escalated support or subject matter enterprise.
- Assists with malware response efforts.
- 12 years in Cybersecurity or related Information Technology fields, Bachelors and nine (10) years or more experience; Masters and seven (8) years or more experience
- Experience with identifying and facilitating remediation of Network related vulnerability, specifically around Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) 3.0 protocols and IPv6
- Experience working with Endpoint Vulnerability Scanning solutions, specifically Tenable Nessus
- Security , CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, OSCP, CEH, or similar certification
- Experience with and understanding of Federal Cybersecurity requirements (i.e. FISMA, NIST 800 series, etc)
- Proven experience in vulnerability management, risk assessment and mitigation, and comprehensive remediation actions
- Excellent communications skills with the capacity to describe vulnerability management concepts to unacquainted individuals
- Exceptional ability to collaboration and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
