This role is crucial in aiding new engineers and support personnel to efficiently understand and address technical issues.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with software engineers and other technical team members to gatherinformation and develop clear and concise troubleshooting guides.Create and maintain various self-service documentation, including FAQs, how-toguides, and knowledge base articles.Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with companystandards and best practices.Review and edit existing documentation to enhance clarity, consistency, and overallquality.Work closely with the support team to identify common issues and createdocumentation to address these problems proactively.Use technical knowledge to translate complex technical concepts into easilyunderstandable content for various audiences.Conduct research and interviews to gather information from subject matter experts.Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continuously improvedocumentation quality.Requirements : 2-4 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software developmentenvironment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as MS Word,Confluence, and Markdown editors.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or arelated field.
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of programming languages and software engineering concepts.Experience creating multimedia content, such as video tutorials or infographics.Prior experience in developing documentation for customer support teams.
Pay Transparency : The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is : $57.00 -$62.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
