Chiropractic Assistant Job Summary

Adjusted Life Chiropractic is looking to hire a Chiropractic Assistant to assist in clinical duties, participate in marketing and promotional events and provide administrative support. Primary responsibilities are managing practice member flow within the office, perform diagnostic assessments and evaluations, and marketing within the community. You will greet practice members, address any questions, prepare adjustment and exam rooms, collect practice member health information, and provide education. In addition, you will help identify and schedule internal events, and participate in external health screening opportunities.
Chiropractic Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support & Patient Management
-Greets practice members, addresses any questions, and provides pertinent updates
-Builds relationships and engages with patients and their family members
-Schedules appointments, answers phone calls, continuously monitors practice member flow
-Collects payments, verifies insurance benefits, enters practice member health records
-Ensures all practice member areas are clean and presentable
-Performs necessary diagnostic assessments, provide practice member education
Event Coordination
-Identifies and schedules internal event opportunities
-Participates in external health screening events and expos
Chiropractic Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
-Must be willing to embrace and communicate chiropractic care and philosophy
-Must have strong communication skills and easily build relationships with others
-Must be a self-starter, demonstrating initiative and willingness to begin working
-Must be proficient with technology
-Must have the ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and accept and provide feedback
-Must have the ability to move quickly throughout the office
-Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
-Enjoys interacting with kids and babies
-Partial weekends will be required (3-4 weekends per year)
Benefits:
This is considered a full time position with 30-34 hours required per week.
Pay $16-$25/hour based on experience
