Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join our team. The Claims Specialist will be responsible for managing the claim and assisting the Public Adjuster throughout the entire claims process, from initial claim filing to final resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance policies, strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with claimants, adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and fair outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Management: Handle and process a wide variety of insurance claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Claims Investigation: Investigate claims by gathering necessary documentation, reviewing coverage, and working with claimants, adjusters, and third parties to validate the claim.
- Estimate Review: Analyze estimates for property damage or losses, ensuring accuracy and consistency with policy terms.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough records of claims, including all documentation, correspondence, and status updates.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for claimants, providing updates, answering inquiries, and explaining claims decisions and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure all claims processes adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines, as well as company protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in claims processing, insurance, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and estimate reviews.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple claims concurrently.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Technical: Proficient with claims management software and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
